Shoshana Chatfield oral history on NWC presidency, 2023 May 4
Past Naval War College President, RADM Shoshana Chatfield, is interviewed about her tenure as president, 2019-2023. Chatfield reflects on her decision to accept the position, which was a welcomed but unexpected opportunity. She addresses major themes of her presidency, including needed organizational and cultural changes, the unforeseen impacts of the COVID pandemic, and the college’s relationship with past, present, and future students. She also remarks on some personal highlights, such as the role her husband played as the first male PNWC spouse, NWC's heritage, and her involvement with students.
